Two Residencies/ One Summer

This summer I was fortunate enough to go to Ox Bow School of art before my residency at SAIC. My work shifted in response to having the unobstructed white walls in both the studio spaces (my studio at home is interrupted by cabinets, windows, and a garage door). Both programs had visiting artists, wonderful faculty, and perhaps the thing I value most while being away-- the ability to see how my work operates and changes in a different community and setting.
